Crafts Education Demonstation
Here are some photographs taken at Athenry Castle in County Galway. Eireann Edge provided twelve trained members of the group for a traditional blacksmithing display using a small portable coal forge and handmade bellows, stone caring, history talk, fight demonstrations using various weapons including Long swords, axes, spears and twin fighting knives. Throughout the day we also had an archery display and "have ago" caber toss.We also provided a wooden tower.
